Product Hints and Advice

• You start with a pack of dry powder comprising clay and finely ground up paper. You then add water. You can make it as stiff or soft as your project requires. It can be rolled out like slab clay (stiff mix); it can be used to form sheets and it can be casts like paper pulp (wet mix).
• Dries to superior hardness without firing. When dry it can be sanded, sawed, drilled and assembled with glue or nails. It accepts virtually any color or surface finish – it can even be waterproofed.
• Paper clay produces finished pieces which are light weight, strong and durable. Paper clay can be stored indefinitely in its dry form. For this reason, wet mix what you need for each project. In the wet mix form it can be stored at room temperature but for indefinite storage it is best stored in a refrigerator.
